Our Rolling home in Oklahoma
We have always loved traveling in an RV or Camper. Several years ago, after the kids were grown and gone we moved up to a class A Motorhome. We loved it.
We just went someplace for the weekend but eventually we found that it was not enough. We wanted to go further and we wanted to go longer, but we had a business to run and it is internet based.
We researched our options for internet and eventually learned about the Wilson Electronic line of Cellular Signal Amplifiers and Boosters. We bought their trucker antenna which really helped with getting a little bit more signal for our cell phones and internet data card but it just wasn’t enough. We started looking at the amplifiers but we were not too sure the benefits would overcome the cost. Eventually, after a lot of frustration not being able to make calls or stay connected to the internet, we broke down and bought an amplifier and antenna as a companion to our trucker antenna.
It changed our RV life!!!! We are now able to connect and work from our motorhome just about everywhere we go. Is it a perfect solution? No. We still have areas where our signal is not strong enough to work on the internet but most places are fine.
We now spend 3 months of the year in our motorhome going back and forth from California to Washington and California, Texas and Oklahoma to visit family. Eventually we will spend more time!! We can’t wait.
